Paingala Upanishad 5 — Verse 5

आत्मेन्द्रियमनोयुक्तं भोक्तेत्याहुर्महर्षयः। ततो नारायणः साक्षाद्धृदये सुप्रतिष्ठितः॥५॥

आत्मा । इन्द्रिय । मनः । युक्तम् । भोक्ता । इति । आहुः । महर्षयः । ततः । नारायणः । साक्षात् । हृदये । सुप्रतिष्ठितः ॥

IAST Transliteration

ātmendriya-mano-yuktaṁ bhoktety āhur maharṣayaḥ | tato nārāyaṇaḥ sākṣād hṛdaye supratiṣṭhitaḥ ||5||

Translation

মহর্ষিসকলে কয়—আত্মা ইন্দ্ৰিয় আৰু মনৰ সৈতে যুক্ত হ’লে ভোক্তা (অনুভৱকাৰী) বুলি কোৱা হয়। তেতিয়া নাৰায়ণ স্বয়ং হৃদয়ত প্ৰত্যক্ষভাৱে সুপ্ৰতিষ্ঠিত।

Academic Translation

The great seers say that the Self, conjoined with sense-organs and mind, is the experiencer (enjoyer). Then Nārāyaṇa Himself is directly well-established in the heart.
