यतो निर्विषयस्यास्य मनसो मुक्तिरिष्यते । अतो निर्विषयं नित्यं मनः कार्यं मुमुक्षुणा ॥

निरस्तविषयासङ्गं संनिरुद्धं मनो हृदि । यदाऽऽयात्यात्मनो भावं तदा तत्परमं पदम् ॥३-४॥

यतः । निर्-विषयस्य । अस्य । मनसः । मुक्तिः । इष्यते । अतः । निर्-विषयम् । नित्यम् । मनः । कार्यम् । मुमुक्षुणा ।

निरस्त-विषय-आसङ्गम् । सं-निरुद्धम् । मनः । हृदि । यदा । आयाति । आत्मनः । भावम् । तदा । तत् । परम् । पदम् ॥

IAST Transliteration

yato nirviṣayasyāsya manaso muktir iṣyate | ato nirviṣayaṃ nityaṃ manaḥ kāryaṃ mumukṣuṇā |

nirasta-viṣayāsaṅgaṃ saṃniruddhaṃ mano hṛdi | yadā''yāty ātmano bhāvaṃ tadā tat paramaṃ padam ||3-4||

Translation

যিহেতু এই মনৰ মুক্তি বিষয়ৰহিততাত স্বীকৃত, সেয়ে মুমুক্ষুৱে সদায় মনক বিষয়ৰহিত কৰিব লাগে। বিষয়াসঙ্গ ত্যাগ কৰি, হৃদয়ত মনক সুসংযত কৰিলে—যেতিয়া ই আত্মভাব পায়, তেতিয়াই সেয়া পৰম পদ।

Academic Translation

Because liberation of this mind is held to be (through) objectlessness, therefore the seeker of liberation should always make the mind objectless. Having cast off attachment to objects, with the mind well-restrained in the heart—when it attains the state of the Self, then that is the supreme abode.
