मृत्युञ्जयेन मन्त्रेण तस्य तुष्टो यतो हरः । तेन मृत्युञ्जयेशेति ख्यातं लिंगं धरातले
mṛtyuñjayena mantreṇa tasya tuṣṭo yato haraḥ | tena mṛtyuñjayeśeti khyātaṃ liṃgaṃ dharātale
মৃত্যুঞ্জয় মন্ত্ৰৰ দ্বাৰা যেতিয়া হৰ (শিৱ) তাত সন্তুষ্ট হ’ল, তেতিয়া সেই লিঙ্গ ধৰণীত ‘মৃত্যুঞ্জয়েশ’ নামে খ্যাত হ’ল।
