Devas (continuing the hymn)
Tirtha: Prabhāsa-kṣetra
Type: kshetra
Listener: Jagannātha (Viṣṇu/Nārāyaṇa)
Scene: Devas bow to Jagannātha; Lakṣmī (Śrī) is shown as arising/being ‘raised’ into prominence—either as seated on a lotus near the Lord or as a radiant aura of prosperity; the Lord’s hand gestures convey protection and boon-giving to the afflicted.
The Lord is the source of auspiciousness (Śrī) and the remover of pain; devotion seeks both inner and outer welfare anchored in Dharma.
Prabhāsakṣetra, by praising the Lord whose grace makes the kṣetra a place of protection and auspiciousness.
Namo-nivedana (offering salutations) and stuti are modeled as devotional acts for removing distress.
