राज्यं हि बहु मन्यंते नरा विषयलोलुपाः । मनीषिणस्तु पश्यन्ति तदेव नरकोपमम्
rājyaṃ hi bahu manyaṃte narā viṣayalolupāḥ | manīṣiṇastu paśyanti tadeva narakopamam
বিষয়লালসাত মত্ত নৰসকলে ৰাজ্যক বহুত মূল্য দিয়ে; কিন্তু মনীষীসকলে সেই ৰাজ্যকেই নৰকৰ সদৃশ দেখে (যেতিয়া ই তৃষ্ণা আৰু অহংকাৰ বঢ়ায়)।
