Īśvara (Śiva) (continuing)
Tirtha: Bāla-Brahmā at Unnata-sthāna
Type: kshetra
Listener: Devī
Scene: Īśvara announces the mahātmyam of Brahmā of unmanifest origin, residing at Unnata-sthāna as a child; the scene suggests a small, radiant child-form deity enthroned, with pilgrims receiving instant purification through sight.
Darśana (sacred sight) is elevated as a powerful spiritual act, capable of purifying the devotee when directed to a sanctified deity and place.
Unnata-sthāna in Prabhāsa Kṣetra, where Brahmā is said to abide.
Darśana itself is emphasized—merely beholding the deity is said to grant freedom from sins.
