एतदेव यदा पद्ममभूद्धैरण्मयं जगत् । तद्वृत्तांताश्रयांतं तत्पाद्ममित्युच्यते बुधैः
etadeva yadā padmamabhūddhairaṇmayaṃ jagat | tadvṛttāṃtāśrayāṃtaṃ tatpādmamityucyate budhaiḥ
এইয়েই সেই বৃত্তান্ত, যেতিয়া পদ্ম উদ্ভৱ হ’ল আৰু জগত স্বৰ্ণময় হ’ল; সেই কাহিনীত আশ্ৰিত হোৱাৰ বাবে পণ্ডিতসকলে ইয়াক ‘পাদ্ম’ (পদ্ম পুরাণ) বুলি কয়।
