एवं देवि तदा जातः क्षुधाक्रान्तो बभाष माम् । अतोऽहं क्षुधितं दृष्ट्वा वरं हीमं च दत्तवान्
evaṃ devi tadā jātaḥ kṣudhākrānto babhāṣa mām | ato'haṃ kṣudhitaṃ dṛṣṭvā varaṃ hīmaṃ ca dattavān
এইদৰে, হে দেবী, যেতিয়া সি জন্মিল, ক্ষুধাত আক্ৰান্ত হৈ সি মোক ক’লে। সেয়ে তাক ক্ষুধিত দেখি মই তাক এটা বৰ দিলোঁ—উপযুক্ত আৰু ভয়ংকৰ।
