गौर्युवाच । सापत्न्यजेर्ष्यया देव मया लिंगं प्रकल्पितम् । तस्मात्कटेश्वराख्या च लोके चास्य भविष्यति

গৌৰীয়ে ক’লে: হে দেৱ! সপত্নীৰ সৈতে প্ৰতিদ্বন্দ্বিতাৰ পৰা উদ্ভৱ হোৱা ঈৰ্ষ্যাৰ বশে মই এই লিঙ্গ স্থাপন কৰিলোঁ। সেয়েহে লোকত ই ‘কটেশ্বৰ’ নামেৰে পৰিচিত হ’ব।
