श्रीमार्कंडेय उवाच । यद्येवं मुनिशार्दूल कुरुष्व वचनं मम । सप्तद्वीपवतीं पृथ्वीं मा त्यक्त्वा कुत्रचिद्व्रज
śrīmārkaṃḍeya uvāca | yadyevaṃ muniśārdūla kuruṣva vacanaṃ mama | saptadvīpavatīṃ pṛthvīṃ mā tyaktvā kutracidvraja
শ্ৰী মাৰ্কণ্ডেয় ক’লে: “যদি তেনেহ’লে, হে মুনিশাৰ্দূল, মোৰ বাক্য পালন কৰা। সপ্তদ্বীপবতী এই পৃথিৱী ত্যাগ নকৰিবা, আৰু ক’লৈও আন ঠাইলৈ নাযাবা।”
