Bhartṛyajña (contextual continuation)
Scene: The performer, after bathing and preparing the pavilion, worships the elemental principles—Earth onward—represented as deities or symbolic maṇḍala forms; the rite culminates in a sense of release from sin.
Right worship aligned with reality (tattvas) is presented as a means of release from accumulated wrongdoing.
The tīrtha is not specified in this verse; it speaks generally of expiatory worship within a tīrtha-māhātmya setting.
Tattva-pūjā: worship of principles starting with Earth (pṛthvī) and others as part of expiation.
