Unspecified (narrator addressing a king)
Tirtha: Siddheśvara (with Dakṣiṇāmūrti-sthāna)
Type: temple
Listener: bhūpāla / king
Scene: Within a Śaiva temple courtyard: Dakṣiṇāmūrti seated under a banyan (or represented on the southern wall), facing disciples; nearby the Siddheśvara liṅga sanctum glows; a king offers gifts with folded hands as priests witness, a visual cue of ‘sahasraguṇa’ radiance emanating from the shrine.
Sacred place and sacred presence amplify merit; offerings made before Śiva at a praised kṣetra are said to yield extraordinary results.
Siddheśvara at the Hāṭakeśvara-kṣetra, within the Nāgara Khaṇḍa’s tīrtha-māhātmya.
Approach Dakṣiṇāmūrti and perform dāna/offerings directly before Siddheśvara to gain greatly multiplied merit.
