भीष्म उवाच । गंगायामस्थिपातोऽत्र येषां संजायते नृणाम् । न तेषां नारको वह्निः प्रभवेन्मध्यवर्तिनाम्
bhīṣma uvāca | gaṃgāyāmasthipāto'tra yeṣāṃ saṃjāyate nṛṇām | na teṣāṃ nārako vahniḥ prabhavenmadhyavartinām
ভীষ্মে ক’লে: যিসকল লোকৰ অস্থি ইয়াত গঙ্গাত বিসৰ্জন হয়, তেওঁলোকৰ ওপৰত নৰকৰ অগ্নি প্ৰভাৱ বিস্তাৰ নকৰে—যদিও তেওঁলোক অন্যথা মধ্যভাগৰ দুঃখভোগৰ যোগ্য হ’লেহেঁতেন।
