विश्वामित्र उवाच । प्रश्नभारो महानेष त्वया मे परिकीर्तितः । तथापि च वदिष्यामि यदि ते कौतुकं नृप । यस्मात्सञ्जायते दोषश्चूर्णपत्रस्य भक्षणात्
viśvāmitra uvāca | praśnabhāro mahāneṣa tvayā me parikīrtitaḥ | tathāpi ca vadiṣyāmi yadi te kautukaṃ nṛpa | yasmātsañjāyate doṣaścūrṇapatrasya bhakṣaṇāt
বিশ্বামিত্ৰ ক’লে: তুমি মোৰ আগত প্ৰশ্নৰ এক বৃহৎ ভাৰ উত্থাপন কৰিলা। তথাপি, হে নৃপ, যদি তোমাৰ কৌতূহল থাকে, তেন্তে মই ক’ম—চূৰ্ণ-পাত ভক্ষণ কৰাৰ পৰা কিয় দোষ জন্মায়।
