Puṣpa
Tirtha: Puṣpāditya
Type: kshetra
Listener: brāhmaṇas (dvija-śreṣṭhāḥ)
Scene: Puṣpa addressing an assembly of brāhmaṇas, hand raised in instruction; behind him a shrine or emblem signifying the newly named ‘Puṣpāditya’; scribes or chanters ready to repeat the name continually.
Sacred places and deities are preserved through kīrtana—continual remembrance and proclamation of their holy name.
A Sun-associated sacred presence is to be known as “Puṣpāditya”; the verse functions as an etymological naming within the tīrtha narrative.
Not a physical ritual here, but a devotional prescription: continual proclamation (kīrtana) of the name Puṣpāditya.
