Transliteration

calitāpi punaścāsyāḥ supatnyā vākyataḥ sthitā | kiyaṃtaṃ caiva kālaṃ me kārpaṇyaṃ mahadāsthitam

Translation

যদিও সি পুনৰ গুচি যাবলৈ উদ্যত আছিল, তথাপি সেই সৎ সহ-পত্নীৰ বাক্যত ৰৈ গ’ল। তেওঁ মনতে ভাবিলে—“কিমান দিন ধৰি মোৰ ওপৰত এই মহা দীনতা আৰু অসহায় দারিদ্ৰ্য লেগি আছে?”
