yājñavalkya uvāca | yadi tuṣṭaḥ suraśreṣṭha vedādhyayanasaṃbhave | gururbhava mamādyaiva mamaitadvāṃchitaṃ hṛdi
Yājñavalkya
Type: kund
Scene: Yājñavalkya, serene and resolute, asks Bhāskara to become his guru ‘today itself’ so that Vedic learning may arise; the moment is intimate, quiet, and luminous.
The highest boon is right knowledge: the devotee seeks a guru and Vedic wisdom rather than worldly gain.
Hāṭakeśvara-kṣetra, where worship culminates in the gift of sacred learning.
A devotional prescription: seek divine guidance for śāstra-adhyayana (Vedic study) and accept the deity as guru through humility and intent.
