ऋषय ऊचुः । किं फलं तस्य चोद्देशः केन चैव पुना कृतम् । कस्माद्व्रतमिदं जातं कृतं केन पुरा विभो
ṛṣaya ūcuḥ | kiṃ phalaṃ tasya coddeśaḥ kena caiva punā kṛtam | kasmādvratamidaṃ jātaṃ kṛtaṃ kena purā vibho
ঋষিসকলে ক’লে: “ইয়াৰ ফল কি, আৰু ইয়াৰ উদ্দেশ্য কি? পুনৰ কোনে এই আচৰণ কৰিলে? হে বিভো, কোন কাৰণত এই ব্ৰত জন্মিল, আৰু প্ৰাচীন কালত কোনে ই সম্পন্ন কৰিলে?”
