suhṛdaya uvāca | yadi deyo varo mahyaṃ tadenaṃ pravṛṇomyaham | sarvavighnavinirmukto vijayaḥ siddhimāpnuyāt
Suhṛdaya
Scene: Suhṛdaya, calm and compassionate, declines self-centered boons and asks that Vijaya be freed from all obstacles and attain complete success; nāgas listen approvingly.
The highest use of divine favor is altruistic—seeking another’s welfare and unobstructed success.
No tīrtha is mentioned in this verse.
None; it is a spoken boon-choice (vara-vṛṇīte) rather than a ritual instruction.
