ततः सुतनुनामा स बालोऽबालोऽभ्युवाच माम् । मम मंदायते वाणी प्रश्नैः स्वल्पैस्तव द्विज । तथापि वच्मि मां यस्मान्निहीनं मन्यते भवान्
tataḥ sutanunāmā sa bālo'bālo'bhyuvāca mām | mama maṃdāyate vāṇī praśnaiḥ svalpaistava dvija | tathāpi vacmi māṃ yasmānnihīnaṃ manyate bhavān
তেতিয়া ‘সুতনু’ নামৰ সেই বালকে—বয়সে সৰু হলেও বুদ্ধিতে বালক নহয়—মোক ক’লে: “হে দ্বিজ ব্ৰাহ্মণ, তোমাৰ সৰু সৰু প্ৰশ্নে মোৰ বাণী থমকি যায়। তথাপি মই ক’ম, কিয়নো তুমি মোক ন্যূন বুলি ভাবিছা।”
