ब्रह्मणस्त्वं सुता देवी तुलानाम्नेति कथ्यते । तुकारो गौरवे नित्यं लकारो लघुनि स्मृतः
brahmaṇastvaṃ sutā devī tulānāmneti kathyate | tukāro gaurave nityaṃ lakāro laghuni smṛtaḥ
“হে দেবী, তুমি ব্ৰহ্মাৰ কন্যা; তোমাক ‘তুলা’ নামে কোৱা হয়। ‘তু’ অক্ষৰ সদায় গুৰুভাৱ (ভাৰ)ৰ সৈতে যুক্ত, আৰু ‘লা’ অক্ষৰ লঘুভাৱ (হালকাপণ) বুলি স্মৰণীয়।”
