ततो यज्ञोपवीतं दद्यात् अनेन मंत्रेण । सूत्रतंतुमयं शुद्धं पवित्रमिदमुत्तमम् । यज्ञोपवीतं देवेश प्रगृहाण नमोऽस्तु ते
tato yajñopavītaṃ dadyāt anena maṃtreṇa | sūtrataṃtumayaṃ śuddhaṃ pavitramidamuttamam | yajñopavītaṃ deveśa pragṛhāṇa namo'stu te
তাৰ পিছত এই মন্ত্ৰেৰে যজ্ঞোপৱীত (জনেৱ) দিব: ‘সূত্ৰ-তন্তুৰে নিৰ্মিত এই শুদ্ধ, পবিত্ৰ আৰু উত্তম যজ্ঞোপৱীত। হে দেৱেশ, ইয়াক গ্ৰহণ কৰা; তোমাক নমস্কাৰ।’
