देहेंद्रियप्राणमनोधियोऽमी यदंशब्द्धाः प्रचरंति कर्मसु । नैवान्यदालोहमिव प्रतप्तं स्थानेषु तद्दृष्टपदेन एते

এই দেহ, ইন্দ্ৰিয়, প্ৰাণ, মন আৰু বুদ্ধি—ইহঁতে কৰ্মত গতি পায় কেৱল তেতিয়াই, যেতিয়া সিহঁত তেওঁৰ এক অংশৰ সৈতে বন্ধিত থাকে। তাৰ বাহিৰে সিহঁত একো নহয়; যেন লোহা অগ্নিত তপ্ত হৈ ৰঙা নোহোৱালৈকে দাহ কৰিব নোৱাৰে। সেয়ে নিজ নিজ স্থানে সিহঁতে তেওঁৰ উপস্থিতিৰ শক্তিতেই চলি থাকে।
