प्रयोजनमपेक्ष्यैव प्रसंगाद्यत्प्रदीयते । अनर्हेषु सरागेण कामदानं तदुच्यते
prayojanamapekṣyaiva prasaṃgādyatpradīyate | anarheṣu sarāgeṇa kāmadānaṃ taducyate
যি দান কেৱল নিজৰ কোনো উদ্দেশ্য ভাবি, আসক্তি আৰু আকস্মিক প্ৰসঙ্গবশত—অযোগ্য লোককো—দিয়া হয়, তাক ‘কামদান’ বোলা হয়।
