उवाच सा पिता दाता तं प्रार्थय सुदुर्मते । पितृप्रदेया यत्कन्या श्रुतिरेषा सनातनी
uvāca sā pitā dātā taṃ prārthaya sudurmate | pitṛpradeyā yatkanyā śrutireṣā sanātanī
তাই ক’লে: “পিতাই দাতা—হে কুবুদ্ধি, গৈ পিতাক প্ৰাৰ্থনা কৰ। কন্যা পিতৃৰ দ্বাৰাই দানীয়; এই শ্ৰুতিৰ সনাতন বিধান।”
