व्यास उवाच । शृणु सूत महाबुद्धे यथा स्कंदेन भाषितम् । भविष्यं मम तस्याग्रे कुंभयोने महामते
vyāsa uvāca | śṛṇu sūta mahābuddhe yathā skaṃdena bhāṣitam | bhaviṣyaṃ mama tasyāgre kuṃbhayone mahāmate
ব্যাস ক’লে: হে মহাবুদ্ধি সূত, স্কন্দে যিদৰে কৈছে সেয়া শুনা। আৰু সেই মহামতি কুম্ভযোনি (অগস্ত্য)ৰ আগত মোৰ বিষয়ে যি ভবিষ্যৎ কোৱা হৈছিল, সেয়াও শুনা।
