स्कंद उवाच । शृण्वगस्त्य महाभाग भविष्यं कथयाम्यहम् । कृष्णद्वैपायनो व्यासोऽकथयद्यन्महद्वचः । निश्चिकेतुमनाः पश्चाद्यत्करिष्यति तच्छृणु
skaṃda uvāca | śṛṇvagastya mahābhāga bhaviṣyaṃ kathayāmyaham | kṛṣṇadvaipāyano vyāso'kathayadyanmahadvacaḥ | niściketumanāḥ paścādyatkariṣyati tacchṛṇu
স্কন্দ ক’লে: হে মহাভাগ অগস্ত্য, শুনা; মই ভবিষ্যৎ কথা ক’ম। কৃষ্ণদ্বৈপায়ন ব্যাসে যি মহান বচন কৈছিল, সেয়া শুনা; আৰু তাৰ পিছত সেই কথা স্থিৰ কৰিবলৈ মন স্থাপন কৰি তেওঁ যি কৰিব, সেয়াও শুনা।
