न तादृङ्नेदसि प्रायः क्वापि ज्ञातो महामते । क्रतुस्तु नैव कर्तव्यो नास्ति क्रतुसमो रिपुः
na tādṛṅnedasi prāyaḥ kvāpi jñāto mahāmate | kratustu naiva kartavyo nāsti kratusamo ripuḥ
হে মহামতে, তেনে উপযুক্ত আধাৰ প্ৰায় ক’তোও জনা নাযায়। সেয়ে ক্ৰতু-যজ্ঞ আৰম্ভ কৰা উচিত নহয়—কাৰণ (অযোগ্য অৱস্থাত) যজ্ঞৰ সমান শত্রু নাই।
