সেই সময়ৰ পৰা সেই তীৰ্থ “ধৰ্মাঁধু” নামে খ্যাত হ’ল। ই ব্ৰহ্মহত্যা আদি পাপসমূহকো কষ্ট নোহোৱাকৈ ধুই পেলোৱা পৰম পবিত্ৰকাৰী।
