स्कंद उवाच । वाराणस्यां विशालाक्षी क्षेत्रस्य परमेष्टदा । विशालतीर्थं गंगायां कृत्वा पृष्ठे व्यवस्थिता
skaṃda uvāca | vārāṇasyāṃ viśālākṣī kṣetrasya parameṣṭadā | viśālatīrthaṃ gaṃgāyāṃ kṛtvā pṛṣṭhe vyavasthitā
স্কন্দে ক’লে: বাৰাণসীত বিশালাক্ষী এই পবিত্ৰ ক্ষেত্ৰৰ পৰম অধিষ্ঠাত্রী দেৱী। গঙ্গাত বিশাল তীৰ্থ স্থাপন কৰি, তাতেই ৰক্ষক-সান্নিধ্য ৰূপে স্থিত থাকে।
