ब्राह्मण उवाच । भूपाल बहुकालीनोस्म्यहमत्र चिरंतनः । त्वं तु मां नैव जानासि जाने त्वां हि रिपुंजयम्
brāhmaṇa uvāca | bhūpāla bahukālīnosmyahamatra ciraṃtanaḥ | tvaṃ tu māṃ naiva jānāsi jāne tvāṃ hi ripuṃjayam
ব্ৰাহ্মণে ক’লে: “হে ভূপাল, মই বহু কাল ধৰি ইয়াতেই আছোঁ—এই স্থানত চিৰন্তন বাসিন্দা। কিন্তু তুমি মোক চিনা নাহাঁ; মই কিন্তু তোমাক ৰিপুঞ্জয়, শত্রুজয়ী বুলি জানো।”
