gāyatrī vedajananī gāyatrī brāhmaṇaprasūḥ | gātāraṃ trāyate yasmādgāyatrī tena gīyate

Translation

গায়ত্ৰী বেদৰ জননী; গায়ত্ৰী ব্রাহ্মণৰ প্ৰসূতি। যিহেতু সি গাতা (জপকাৰী)ক ত্ৰাণ কৰে, সেয়েহে সি ‘গায়ত্ৰী’ বুলি গীত হয়।
