षोडशांशं स लभते यः पराथं च गच्छति । अर्धं तीर्थफलं तस्य यः प्रसंगेन गच्छति
ṣoḍaśāṃśaṃ sa labhate yaḥ parāthaṃ ca gacchati | ardhaṃ tīrthaphalaṃ tasya yaḥ prasaṃgena gacchati
যি অন্যৰ কাৰণে তীৰ্থলৈ যায়, সি পূৰ্ণ পুণ্যৰ কেৱল ষোড়শাংশ লাভ কৰে। কিন্তু যি কেৱল প্ৰসঙ্গবশত যায়, সি তীৰ্থফলৰ অৰ্ধাংশ পায়।
