मेखलाजिनदंडाश्च लिंगं स्याद्ब्रह्मचारिणः । गृहिणो वेदयज्ञादि नखलोमवनस्थितेः

ব্ৰহ্মচাৰীৰ লিঙ্গ (চিহ্ন) হ’ল—মেখলা, অজিন আৰু দণ্ড। গৃহীৰ চিহ্ন হ’ল বেদীয় যজ্ঞ আদি কৰ্ম; আৰু বনস্থ (বানপ্ৰস্থ)ৰ চিহ্ন হ’ল নখ-লোম (নকটা নখ-চুলিৰ তপস্যা)।
