न खल्वयमृतोंऽडस्थ इति स्नेहादभाषत । तदा प्रभृति लोकेयं मार्तंड इति चोच्यते
na khalvayamṛtoṃ'ḍastha iti snehādabhāṣata | tadā prabhṛti lokeyaṃ mārtaṃḍa iti cocyate
স্নেহবশত তাই ক’লে, “ডিমৰ ভিতৰত নিশ্চয় সি মৃত নহয়।” তেতিয়াৰ পৰাই এই জগতত সি “মাৰ্তণ্ড” নামে পৰিচিত হ’ল।
