তেওঁলোকে তীব্ৰ তপস্যা কৰি বৈশ্বেশ্বৰী পুৰী (কাশী) লাভ কৰিলে। তাত মহাদেৱক আৰাধনা কৰা হ’ল, আৰু সোম—চন্দ্ৰৰ ভূষণ, নক্ষত্ৰাধিপতি—কো সন্তুষ্ট কৰা হ’ল।
