jīvenmṛgayu dharmeṇa tatrāpi karuṇāparaḥ | na viśvastānpakṣimṛgānna suptānna vyavāyinaḥ

মৃগয়ু (শিকাৰী) ধৰ্মমতে নিজৰ জীৱিকা চলাওক, তথাপি কৰুণাত নিবদ্ধ থাকক; বিশ্বাসী পখী-মৃগক, নিদ্ৰাৰতক, আৰু মিলনত ৰতক হত্যা নকৰিব।
