व्यास उवाच । संप्राप्य धर्मवाप्यां च यः कुर्यात्पितृतर्पणम् । तृप्तिं प्रयांति पितरो यावदिंद्राश्चतुर्दश

ব্যাসে ক’লে: যি কোনো ব্যক্তি ধৰ্মৱাপীলৈ গৈ পিতৃসকলৰ তৰ্পণ কৰে, তেওঁৰ পিতৃসকল চৌদ্দ ইন্দ্ৰৰ কাল যিমান দিন থাকে সিমান দিন পৰ্যন্ত তৃপ্তি লাভ কৰে।
