वर्षमध्ये प्रकुर्वीत तथा सुप्ते जनार्द्दने । पौषे च लुप्तं कृत्वा च श्रौतं स्मार्त्तं करोति यः
varṣamadhye prakurvīta tathā supte janārddane | pauṣe ca luptaṃ kṛtvā ca śrautaṃ smārttaṃ karoti yaḥ
যি জনে বৰ্ষাকালৰ মাজত, অথবা জনাৰ্দ্দন (বিষ্ণু) যোগনিদ্ৰাত ‘সুপ্ত’ থকা সময়ত এই বিধি সম্পাদন কৰে; আৰু পৌষ মাহত ব্ৰত-নিয়ম লুপ্ত বুলি ধৰি তথাপি শ্ৰৌত আৰু স্মাৰ্ত কৰ্ম কৰি থাকে—সেয়া যথাযথ কাল-নিয়মৰ বিপৰীত আচৰণ।
