गतास्ते वृत्तिभाजः स्युर्नान्ये वृत्त्यभिभागिनः । तत्र नैव गता ये वै चातुर्विद्यत्वमागताः
gatāste vṛttibhājaḥ syurnānye vṛttyabhibhāginaḥ | tatra naiva gatā ye vai cāturvidyatvamāgatāḥ
যিসকল তাত গ’ল, তেওঁলোকেই জীৱিকা-বণ্টনৰ ন্যায়সঙ্গত অধিকাৰী হ’ল; আন কাকো সেই অধিকাৰত ভাগ ল’বলৈ দিয়া নহ’ল। কিন্তু যিসকলে ‘চাতুৰ্বিদ্যা’ৰ পদ লাভ কৰিছিল, তেওঁলোক তাত একেবাৰে নাযায়।
