Vyāsa
Tirtha: Dvārāvatī (Viṣṇu-purī-gamana)
Type: kshetra
Scene: A sacred precinct at Dvārakā shows two symbolic pathways: a calm, inexhaustible water body and a consecrated fire; liberated souls, purified, proceed toward a radiant Viṣṇu-purī in the distance.
In the Purāṇic vision, a sanctified place and a Viṣṇu-centered intention are said to transform even the final moment into a gateway to liberation.
The Dvārāvatī sacred region described in Adhyāya 26, associated with access to Viṣṇu’s abode.
Dehatyāga is discussed as a place-linked religious act; the verse references water (jala) and fire (agni) contexts without detailing procedure.
