शतघ्नीं पातयामास तस्या उपरि दानवः । शक्तिं चिच्छेद सा देवी मातंगी च शुभानना
śataghnīṃ pātayāmāsa tasyā upari dānavaḥ | śaktiṃ ciccheda sā devī mātaṃgī ca śubhānanā
দানৱে তেন্তে তায়াৰ ওপৰত শতঘ্নী নিক্ষেপ কৰিলে; কিন্তু শুভমুখী দেৱী মাতঙ্গীয়ে সেই শক্তি (ভালা) কাটি টুকুৰা-টুকুৰা কৰিলে।
