व्यास उवाच । अथ किंचिद्गते काले युगांतसमये सति । त्रेतादौ लोलजिह्वाक्ष अभवद्राक्षसेश्वरः
vyāsa uvāca | atha kiṃcidgate kāle yugāṃtasamaye sati | tretādau lolajihvākṣa abhavadrākṣaseśvaraḥ
ব্যাসে ক’লে: “তাৰ পিছত কিছু কাল গ’ল, যেতিয়া যুগান্তৰ সময় ওচৰ চাপিল। ত্ৰেতাযুগৰ আৰম্ভণিতে লোলজিহ্বাক্ষ নামৰ এক ৰাক্ষসেশ্বৰ উদ্ভৱ হ’ল।”
