प्रेतास्तस्य हि सुप्रीता यावदाभूतसम्प्लवम् । अन्नं वस्त्रं हिरण्यं च यो दद्यादग्रजन्मने
pretāstasya hi suprītā yāvadābhūtasamplavam | annaṃ vastraṃ hiraṇyaṃ ca yo dadyādagrajanmane
নিশ্চয়েই তেওঁৰ প্ৰেত-পিতৃসকল মহা-প্ৰসন্ন থাকে যেতিয়ালৈকে ভূত-সম্প্লৱ (প্ৰলয়) নাহে। যি অগ্ৰজন্মনে ব্ৰাহ্মণক অন্ন, বস্ত্ৰ আৰু হিৰণ্য (সোণ) দান কৰে, সিয়ে তেওঁলোকৰ এই স্থায়ী তৃপ্তি সাধন কৰে।
