Devas (addressing Brahmā)
Scene: Devas with torn banners and bruised bodies gesture emphatically—‘paśya paśya’—showing wounds and broken weapons; their faces show grief at separation from families; Brahmā listens, composed.
True refuge is single-pointed—turning fully to the divine when worldly supports fall away.
None explicitly; the emotional urgency sets the stage for Brahmā’s later direction to the Revā (Narmadā) bank.
None; it is a plea of surrender.
