श्रीमार्कण्डेय उवाच । एतदाख्यानमतुलं पुण्यं श्रुतिमुखावहम् । पुराणे यच्छ्रुतं तात तत्ते वक्ष्याम्यशेषतः
śrīmārkaṇḍeya uvāca | etadākhyānamatulaṃ puṇyaṃ śrutimukhāvaham | purāṇe yacchrutaṃ tāta tatte vakṣyāmyaśeṣataḥ
শ্ৰী মাৰ্কণ্ডেয় ক’লে: এই অতুল পুণ্যময় আখ্যান অতি পবিত্ৰ আৰু শ্ৰৱণযোগ্য। হে প্ৰিয়! পুৰাণসমূহত যি যি মই শুনিছোঁ, সেয়া সকলো তোমাক একো নাছাড়ি সম্পূৰ্ণকৈ ক’ম।
