श्रीमार्कण्डेय उवाच । कुलिकान्वयसम्भूतो ब्राह्मणो भक्तिमाञ्छुचिः । ईक्ष्यामीति रविं तत्र तीर्थे यात्राकृतोद्यमः
śrīmārkaṇḍeya uvāca | kulikānvayasambhūto brāhmaṇo bhaktimāñchuciḥ | īkṣyāmīti raviṃ tatra tīrthe yātrākṛtodyamaḥ
শ্ৰী মাৰ্কণ্ডেয়ে ক’লে—কুলিকা বংশত জন্ম লোৱা, ভক্তিত পৰিপূৰ্ণ, শুচি ব্ৰাহ্মণে সংকল্প কৰিলে—‘মই ৰবি-দেৱ (সূৰ্য)ৰ দৰ্শন কৰিম’; আৰু সেই তীৰ্থত তীৰ্থযাত্ৰাৰ বাবে উদ্যমেৰে প্ৰস্তুত হ’ল।
