श्रीमार्कण्डेय उवाच । तत्रैव तु भवेदन्यदादित्यस्य महात्मनः । कीर्तयामि नरश्रेष्ठ यदि ते श्रवणे मतिः
śrīmārkaṇḍeya uvāca | tatraiva tu bhavedanyadādityasya mahātmanaḥ | kīrtayāmi naraśreṣṭha yadi te śravaṇe matiḥ
শ্ৰী মাৰ্কণ্ডেয় ক’লে: সেই একে অঞ্চলতেই মহাত্মা আদিত্য (সূৰ্য) সম্পৰ্কে আন এটা পবিত্ৰ আখ্যান আছে। হে নৰশ্ৰেষ্ঠ, যদি তোমাৰ মন শুনিবলৈ আগ্ৰহী হয়, তেন্তে মই তাক কীৰ্তন কৰিম।
