Sūta (Lomaharṣaṇa) (deduced)
Tirtha: Māṇḍaveśvara / Māṇḍavya-kṣetra
Type: kshetra
Listener: Mahārāja (king)
Scene: Two-panel devotional scene: left shows Lakulīśvara shrine with a paṭṭabandha rite; right shows Māṇḍaveśvara shrine receiving the same offerings; above, a lunar calendar motif marking Āśvina and the Aśvinī nakṣatra.
Merit is not only place-based but also time-based; yet a supremely praised kṣetra can grant equivalent fruits even without rare combinations.
Māṇḍaveśvara, compared favorably with Lakulīśvara at Mātrā and auspicious Āśvina Aśvinī-yoga.
It references paṭṭabandha at Lakulīśvara and the auspicious Aśvinī-yoga in Āśvina as benchmarks of merit.
