Sūta (Lomaharṣaṇa) (deduced: Āvantya Khaṇḍa narrative style)
Tirtha: Śuklatīrtha
Type: ghat
Listener: Bhārata
Scene: Pilgrims at the river tīrtha offer with folded hands toward a Śiva-liṅga or Śiva shrine; a luminous path or aura suggests ascent to Śiva’s world; faces are serene and ‘hṛṣṭa’ (joyful).
When gifts and rites are dedicated to Śiva with bhakti at a tīrtha, they become a direct cause for elevated posthumous destiny.
Śuklatīrtha (the tīrtha being praised throughout this passage).
Devotional dedication of acts—especially dāna/rites—explicitly ‘for Śiva’ at the tīrtha.
